The mission of Third Eye Insight™(TEI) is to help build physical strength and endurance, instill self-confidence, promote independence, self-esteem and empower blind and visually impaired individuals with the tools they can use to be successful at setting goals and in managing life's challenges.
Importance of Accessibility
When writing this cabaret, I had a special person in mind that I wanted to be able to experience it to its full extent. One of my closest friends, Jessica, was born blind. I love bringing her to plays and explaining the important visual elements that she may be missing. I wanted this story to be accessible in a way that could be watched or listened to. Jess was a big inspiration to the creation of this project and I'm grateful to have such a wonderful friend to share it with.
